James Maher of Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants showcases wines that will pair wonderfully with a special menu by Chef Marc McDowell of Hali’imaile General Store.
Hali’imaile General Store (the restaurant) occupies what was once, in fact, a general store. Built in 1929, it supplied necessities for the area’s pineapple workers. Chev Bev Gannon purchased the building in 1987, and has been attracting diners with her brand of Hawaiʻi Regional Cuisine ever since.
